Finally Approved!

After close to a year and a half of paperwork, city council meetings, and miles of red tape, we were finally approved by the City of Jacksonville to purchase the property on the corner of 9th Street and Main Street on June 27, 2017.

The property was a gas station at one point and the environmental aspect of building over the old gasoline tanks buried below the building caused a lot of controversy. But we did our due diligence and patiently waited for the day to come when we had the opportunity to buy the property we fell in love with months ago.

Once we were approved by the City of Jacksonville, we began waiting to be approved by the bank. While we were waiting on the next big piece of the puzzle, we met with contractors and started to design Strings. In early October all of the pieces came together and we were officially approved by the bank. May the construction begin.
